Glock 43 Hybrid Holster
Our Glock 43 hybrid holsters are custom made from the best materials money can buy. They are tuck-able if you need to tuck in a shirt. The holster accommodates 1.5 to 1.75 belts.
We use a high quality black bridle 10/12 oz. leather which is soft to the touch. The edges are burnished to give a nice round edge. The leather is hand stitched with high grade strong black tread. We position the shell on the leather backer to give the best position for grip with clearance for large hands. Holsters grip position can not be optimized when you make shells fit a universal hole pattern on a leather backer. Firearms frames are not all the same sizes. This is why don’t make holster shells fit a universal backer in the same hole locations as some big name holster makers do. The term “combat cut” was born by eliminating the leather backer from interfering or impeding the grip.
Our holster shells are formed with with .080 Boltaron 4332, or in carbon fiber .080 (holstex). Like most of our holsters we flare the lip of the shell to help holstering the weapon with your eyes closed. We round the edges of the shells and spend time feeling and inspecting these edges until they are right. All our holsters are custom formed with our proprietary molds to get the fit just right. Each holster is assembled with high grade fasteners and then hand fitted with the real firearm. We use T nuts to secure the shell to the leather because rivets can loose tension or fail from a pulling the shell of a riveted holster.
Adjustable retention is a standard feature with all out holsters. You can adjust the retention as the leather breaks in. We include an extra set of short screws and short rubber spacers to adjust retention down the road as the leather ages.
Our spring steel belt clips are going to last a lifetime. We seen the plastic version break during the winter so we prefer to offer a more robust clip. With four belt clip holes per side it allows you the best ride height and cant angles to suit your carry position.
The holster is designed for inside the waistband for concealed carry but in rare cases the clip could be positioned on the back to allow the holster to be worn outside the waistband.
